Master Chef Gustav Mauler earned the Certified Master Chef title in 1985.

Career highlights:

Chef Mauler is President & CEO of Gustav International Chartered, a Las Vegas-based hospitality and consulting firm specializing in restaurant development and management.
He leads Spiedini Ristorante, his signature fine dining establishment at the JW Marriott, and oversees Gustav’s Catering, a globally inspired, full-service catering division.
A native of Austria and graduate of the Innkeeper School in Vienna, Chef Mauler entered the U.S. gaming industry in 1980 with the Golden Nugget in Atlantic City before relocating to Las Vegas in 1987.
He is also an international design consultant for commercial and residential kitchens and dining rooms, as well as delivery, storage and preparation areas.
Chef Mauler was presented with an Honorary Doctorate of Culinary Arts from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island.
He is a member of the Chaine de Rotisseirs Gourmet Society, The American Culinary Federation, and The Order of the Golden Togue.
