George McNeill, CMC
Master Chef George McNeill earned the Certified Master Chef title in 1988.
Career highlights:
- He was captain of the 1996 Canadian National Culinary Olympic Team, which brought three gold medals home from Berlin.
- Wass Executive Chef at the Royal York Hotel.
- Named “Chef of the Year” in 1996 by the Escoffier Society and the Canadian Federation of Chefs and Cooks; followed by the Ontario Hostelry Institute in 1997.

- In 2008, he was bestowed an Honorary Doctorate by Baltimore International College for Culinary Arts.
