Master Pastry Chef Otto Bernet earned the Certified Master Pastry Chef title in 1983.

 Career highlights:

  • He was trained in Zurich, Switzerland, and immigrated to the United States in 1959.
  • Became a U.S. citizen in 1964.
  • Worked at various establishments in the Richmond area since 1960. He was Executive Chef at the Country Club of Virginia and responsible for the European Specialty Pastries section at Ukrop’s.
